1969 – Emma Harper Turner Building construction in pictures
In 1969, the iconic Emma Harper Turner Building began construction. The building was complete by June, 1970, in time for the first year-round craft workshops to be offered at Arrowmont. These pictures highlight the building’s construction. 2020 marks the 50-year anniversary of the building’s construction.
