Call For Entries

We are passionate about supporting artists, providing opportunities for individuals to submit proposals for future exhibitions at Arrowmont or inclusion in group exhibitions as available.

Overview

Our galleries are open year around, offering a rotating calendar of exhibitions that complement workshops, conferences and programs, featuring instructors, staff, Artists-in-Residence, and other members of Arrowmont’s creative community. We typically make calls for entries 12 months or more in advance, allowing artists the opportunity to create a new body of work or fit the exhibition within their own hectic calendars.

Group shows often revolve around a specific theme or are part of a recurring event Arrowmont participants in or hosts – Like the Sevier County Biennial Juried Exhibition and the Utilitarian Clay Symposium. While not required, we do prioritize proposals submitted by artists with a connection to Arrowmont.

2025-2026 Open Call for Knoxville Featured Exhibitions

The Arrowmont Gallery in Knoxville, TN, is holding an Open Call for Knoxville Featured Exhibitions for 2025-2026, inviting local artists to display their work for one-month exhibitions. Knoxville-based artists working in various mediums, especially those rooted in craft practices that align with Arrowmont’s mission, are encouraged to apply individually or as groups by the August 31, 2025, deadline with a $25 application fee.

Selected artists will have an opening event on the First Friday of their designated month, with opportunities to sell their work and host special events.

Call for Submissions: Showcase and Marketplace Galleries

Arrowmont is seeking submissions from artists to be included in the Showcase gallery in the Supply store at the Gatlinburg Campus and the Marketplace gallery at our Knoxville gallery. We are looking for works priced under $200 from artists who will be able to send more work when inventory is low.

All media accepted. All works must be original in design and made by the artist. Hobby kits and reproductions will not be accepted. Submissions always welcome.
