Take exit 407 (I-40E) or 443 (I-40W) for TN-66 toward Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Follow signs for Gatlinburg and merge onto TN-66 S/Winfield Dunn Pkwy. Stay on TN-66 S/Winfield Dunn Pkwy for approximately 13mi until it merges into the Forks of the River Parkway.Turn left unto East Parkway and take first right onto Baskin Creek Bypass. Arrowmont entrance is at the top of the first hill on the righ at 150 Baskins Creek Bypass.

For students driving to Arrowmont from the McGhee-Tyson airport, we recommend US 441/Hwy 411. From the airport take W General Aviation Dr, following signs to US-129 south to Maryville / Alcoa. Turn right onto US-129 S for 1.5mi, then keep left to continue to TN-35 N. Use the right 2 lanes to turn onto US-321 N/E Lamar Alexander Pkwy. Follow Lamar Alexander Parkway for approx. 12mi. Slight right onto US-441 S/Hwy 411 N. Turn right onto Pleasant Hill Rd. Turn right onto Whites School Rd. Turn left onto River Divide Rd. Turn left onto Henderson Rd. Turn right onto Parkway for approx. 9mi.When entering downtown Gatlinburg, turn left unto East Parkway and take first right onto Baskin Creek Bypass. Arrowmont entrance is at the top of the first hill on the right. – 150 Baskins Creek Bypass

Visitors and Students are permitted to park in any lot or available parking space on campus.

For those visiting to peruse our galleries or shop in the store we recommend parking beside the Wood Complex or in front of West Complex nearest the Parkway/Annakeesta entrance.

Overflow parking is available behind the hill houses – Stuart, Pollard and Teacher Cottage.

Students who are staying on campus may choose to temporarily park in front of the Turner Building while they check-in for their workshop, before moving their vehicle to a parking lot adjacent to their residence for the week.

The Knoxville McGhee-Tyson (TYS) regional airport is the closest airport with connections in major cities across the US. Approximately 1.5 hours from Arrowmont, students will need to arrange either a rental vehicle or taxi service to get to our campus upon arrival. Due to the distance, taxi/rideshare service fees will exceed $100 each way. Rental car facilities are onsite at the airport. Check out flight options.

We recommend making reservations for arrival and departure at least two weeks in advance with ANGELS TAXI SERVICE, LLC. Call or text Angie at 865-771-1936 or book online.

Ride sharing services, Lyft and Uber are also available for transport. Though more economical, availability cannot be guaranteed.

Arrowmont’s campus is somewhat hilly, with a majority of our Housing set higher than our workshop studios and student dining facilities. For visitors who may find our terrain challenging, we recommend one of the following Mobility Scooter rentals:
