Art Educators Fellowship
Providing art educators the opportunity to reset, recharge, and get reinspired through their own creative journey.
Created in honor of long-time Arrowmont employee, instructor and friend – the Bill Griffith Art Educators Fellowship is a short-term fellowship designed to support a United States-based K-12 art teacher interested in immersing themselves in a craft school environment. The duration of the fellowship is flexible, based on the educators’ schedule, and can last anywhere between 2-4 weeks.
The chosen Art Educator Fellow can choose to attend 2-3 workshops tuition-free (based on season and availability) and the use of our campus library for independent work. Relax, reengage with your craft, and recharge for the next school year at Arrowmont.
The Art Educator Fellow is provided a private room for the duration of their stay. Meals are provided to residents when workshops are in session. All meals are taken in the dining hall alongside students and staff. When workshops are not in session, meals are the responsibility of the fellow.
