1957
Throughout the year, members of Pi Beta Phi clubs and alumnae would host “teas” and promote the crafts made at Arrowcraft. The shop remained open in the evenings for the 2nd year in 1957. A report to the Settlement School Committee described Arrowcraft as one the few, if not the ONLY, example of cottage industries in the United States.
The Workshop season was ‘literally bigger and better than ever.” 27 states were represented, as well as students from Pakistan, Iran, Finland, Puerto Rico, the Phillipines, and Thailand.
