Arrowmont opens registrations for 2016 Holiday Classes!

Registration is now open for Arrowmont’s 2016 Holiday Classes. Spend time with family and friends at Arrowmont this holiday season. Create ornaments, stockings and other festive creations you can take home for yourself or give as a gift. Classes are offered in a range of media for one day – December 10, 2016. Registration is by phone at 865-436-5860.

Adults and children of all ages are invited to take a holiday workshop at Arrowmont. Participants work independently or together – no experience necessary. Classes are taught by local artists including Arrowmont staff and Artists-in-Residence. “Holiday classes provide the opportunity for Arrowmont to connect with individual members of our community. It’s exciting to welcome new students and spend quality time with returning ones,” says Heather Ashworth, Arrowmont wood studio technician.

This year’s classes offer all the essentials to get you in the holiday spirit! Learn clay hand-building and wheel throwing, embroidery, woodturning and more. Make your holidays handmade with personalized stockings, cards, festive platters, cookie cutters, rolling pins and ceramic mugs!
