The Sevier County Biennial Juried Exhibition is a presentation of artworks created by the people who live and work in Sevier County, Tennessee. This year’s juror, Chattanooga native Kreneshia Whiteside McGee, a.k.a. Kren the Curator, is an advocate for the arts and devoted to fostering culture in the community. She has selected artworks based on excellence in craft and design and the work showcased in the exhibition is a testament to the artistic skill, talent, and creativity of the Sevier County community.
This year 187 works from 78 artists, including 29 first-time submitters, were delivered to Arrowmont for consideration. Kreneshia Whiteside McGee selected 94 of those pieces for inclusion in the 21st Sevier County Biennial. As always, the final selection is a testament to the creativity and skill of the artists working and residing in Sevier County.
