Knoxville Featured Exhibition: Annie Rochelle & Rose Downs

February 6 - 28, 2026

Knoxville Featured Exhibition: Annie Rochelle & Rose Downs brings together the work of two Knoxville–based artists whose practices are rooted in material exploration. Both artists offer quiet, immersive experiences that engage surface, process, and time, sharing a language of soft, luscious color palettes. Together, their work encourages viewers to slow down and look closely. Whether through geometric abstraction or the unpredictable beauty of glaze chemistry, this exhibition celebrates practices grounded in attention and observation.

The exhibition will be on view at the Arrowmont Gallery from February 6–28, 2026.

In celebration of this exhibition, please join us for these special one-day events with Rose and Annie:

Rose Downs’ Artist Talk
Saturday, February 14 | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM at the Arrowmont Gallery

Join Rose for a conversation about her process and concepts, followed by a Q&A. The first 10 attendees will receive a special ceramic piece from the artist! This event is free and open to the public.

Studio Tour & Watercolor Workshop with Annie Rochelle
