Children are the future of art in our community. Every child’s art experience at Arrowmont is special and unique. Classes give children inspiration, confidence and joy in learning something new.
Studies show that young people who participate regularly in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement. Participating in art activities develop problem-solving skills, abstract thinking, motor skills, decision-making skills, visual-spatial skills and cultural awareness; all of which are crucial to children’s future learning.
To apply, send a letter telling why your child wants a scholarship to Teri Bilbrey at [email protected]. Class descriptions are available online at www.arrowmont.org/workshops-classes/classes. Call 865-436-5860 for more information.
