Lucinda was powerful, outgoing, compassionate and fun-loving. When engaged in one of her many interests, Lucinda was radiant. She was an avid watercolorist, basket weaver, animal lover and gardener. She often spent her summers in workshops at Arrowmont or working in her garden at home. Lucinda valued time with her family and friends and was loved by all.
Lucinda’s passions included Arrowmont where she had an enduring impact. She was a member of the Board of Governors and chaired the public relations committee. Lucinda made many positive changes at Arrowmont including helping to fund the new studio complex and supporting the campaign to purchase the campus.

With her sister, Mary Dale Trabue Fitzgerald and her mother, Lillian Dale Trabue, Lucinda established the Trabue Family Scholarship for Women Artists that supports an Arrowmont Artist-In-Residence each year.
Lucinda was a Pi Beta Phi to the core. A longtime member of the Nashville Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club, she served as president of the club.
“Lucinda was devoted to the arts, to Arrowmont and to Pi Beta Phi. We will miss her,” Bill May, executive director said.
