Create a piece of handmade pottery with friends, fine wine and fabulous food in an Arrowmont tradition — the Arrowmont Pottery Party. Attend with friends and family, and make new friends. You will be guided through the creative process; no previous experience is needed. You will hand build your piece, glaze it, and put on the final touches before enjoying a delicious meal with a selection of wine. Your pottery piece will be fired and made ready for use following the event.
Of the experience, Bill Griffith says, “It is a time for fellowship. The people who attend the Pottery Indulgence may not be expert potters but they are high achievers. Our goal is to help them create an original piece of pottery that they will be proud to use in their home. I often tell them that they are building their next family heirloom.”
