Need help covering workshop costs? Arrowmont offers financial aid opportunities to broaden access to our arts and craft programs. We believe a diverse community enriches the learning experience for all.
Material fees are not included in our national workshop costs, but are included with the cost of our winter short workshops. A material list with estimated costs will be emailed about 30 days before the national workshop begins.

Artist Bio
Tina Curry
Tina Curry has been a clay artist for over 32 years and holds a BA from the University of Florida. Retired from a career in Graphic Design, she is a full-time ceramic and bronze sculptor living in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tina’s sculptures are individually handbuilt and her signature finishes are the result of alternative firing techniques with raku, horsehair, barrel/pit and saggar firing. She was featured artist for Southern Highlands Craft Guild marketing campaign in 2016 and honored with a solo exhibition for the Tennessee Arts Commission in 2018. In 2021, she was selected to create ceramic art sculptures for the Tennessee Governor’s Awards honorees. Tina’s work was featured in Ceramics Monthly Magazine in September 2022, and in 2024, Tina’s animal sculptures featured in asolo exhibtion at Grovewood Gallery in Asheville. She serves on the Board of Governors for Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Her animal sculptures have been commissioned by Knoxville Zoo, Tennessee and Calgary Zoo, Canada.

Explore the Ceramics Studio
Located in the historic West Building, the Ceramic Studios are a multi-room complex dedicated to all our clay loving students. Featuring both a wheel throwing studio and hand-building studio, shared spaces between these classrooms include a hot box, electric kiln room, train kiln yard (soda and wood firing), and glaze room. With dedicated, professional studio staff on-hand to assist, Arrowmont is prepared to meet every knead – err need.
