Need help covering workshop costs? Arrowmont offers financial aid opportunities to broaden access to our arts and craft programs. We believe a diverse community enriches the learning experience for all.
Material fees are not included in our national workshop costs, but are included with the cost of our winter short workshops. A material list with estimated costs will be emailed about 30 days before the national workshop begins.

Artist Bio
Dallas Wooten
Dallas Wooten is a ceramic artist, educator, and entrepreneur who earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Indiana University Southeast and completed his Master of Fine Arts from Ohio University in 2020. Following his graduation, Wooten served as a long-term Artist-in-Residence at Hope Center for Arts and Technology, Inc. (HopeCAT), where he taught classes at HopeCAT as well as Youngstown State University. In 2020, Wooten founded Wooten Clayworks, which opened its physical location one year ago in Hackettstown, New Jersey. He currently teaches and curates high-quality ceramic exhibitions and workshops there, working to build a community and share his joy for pottery. Recently, Wooten co-founded the Princeton Pottery Festival with Ben Carter and Eric Rempe to expand the ceramic field in the New Jersey region. Wooten was recognized as a 2022 Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist and has been featured in the ArtStream Nomadic Gallery expo at the 2023 and 2025 NCECA conference. His work has been shown across the country at numerous major events, including the Southern Crossing Pottery Festival, Finger Lakes Pottery Tour, and the American Pottery Festival.

Explore the Ceramics Studio
Located in the historic West Building, the Ceramic Studios are a multi-room complex dedicated to all our clay loving students. Featuring both a wheel throwing studio and hand-building studio, shared spaces between these classrooms include a hot box, electric kiln room, train kiln yard (soda and wood firing), and glaze room. With dedicated, professional studio staff on-hand to assist, Arrowmont is prepared to meet every knead – err need.
