Material fees are not included in our national workshop costs, but are included with the cost of our winter short workshops. A material list with estimated costs will be emailed about 30 days before the national workshop begins.

Artist Bio
Rebecca Hutchinson
Rebecca Hutchinson is a distinguished ceramic sculptor and Professor at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, where she has taught Undergraduate and Graduate Ceramics for over twenty years. Her sculptural work is deeply informed by observations of the natural world, drawing inspiration from what she sees as its resilience and resourcefulness. Hutchinson's art has been exhibited extensively, both nationally at venues such as the Everson Museum of Art and the National Museum for Women in the Arts, and internationally at events including the Taiwan Ceramics Biennale, Keramikos International Della Ceramica D’Arte in Italy, and the Vendrell Biennale in Spain. Her recognized work has been published in over 80 international publications, and she has been the recipient of numerous grants, fellowships, and awards throughout her career.

Explore the Ceramics Studio
Located in the historic West Building, the Ceramic Studios are a multi-room complex dedicated to all our clay loving students. Featuring both a wheel throwing studio and hand-building studio, shared spaces between these classrooms include a hot box, electric kiln room, train kiln yard (soda and wood firing), and glaze room. With dedicated, professional studio staff on-hand to assist, Arrowmont is prepared to meet every knead – err need.
