Spinning Tops

In this one-day workshop, students (ages 15-17) will learn the ins and outs of how to create a top! The workshop will cover the proper safety and techniques used to turn and finish a top then add some color to them. Students will have time to make more than one and we can see whose spins the fastest by the end!

This class is underwritten by the Fleur Bresler Scholarship Endowment, allowing us to deduct $55 from the cost of attendance for all youth participants.

While it is Arrowmont's policy to background check all instructors that teach our wonderful kid workshops, we want to ensure that all children are safe from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. We have an extra safety step for our children’s programming and ask that all parents/guardians enrolling a child list create the registration form using their contact information as the primary contact. In addition, the form allows you to list another adult that has clearance to drop-off and pick-up your child. In the event, the adult completing the form is not available, the adult under drop-off/pick-up will be required to sign your child in and out before and after class time.  

For youth, ages 16-18, who may be driving themselves to campus, please fill out the form as requested above. List the youth driving themselves as the drop-off/pick-up alt. No kids under 16 will be allowed to check themselves out, likewise if the kid does not have a license yet, they must get checked in and out by an adult.
